Who Are We
We heard the cries, and we answered – Global Community Mothers In Law and Know-how (“MILK”), is a diverse group of lawyers including litigators, prosecutors, corporate attorneys and lobbyists, who are frustrated with the social and legal policies that keep our communities in fear and in bondage; who are committed to holding public officials, law enforcement and community leaders accountable; and who are inspired by the God given gifts and wisdom, we, as mothers, have to create, sustain, and nurture communities.
What We Do
We provide:
legal analysis of current and proposed legislation to federal, state, and local policymakers regarding the impact on marginalized communities
We partner:
with local law enforcement agencies to ensure that officers are properly vetted and trained in racial discrimination and de-escalation techniques.
We support:
public policy initiatives and organizations that positively impact the legal rights, safety, and security of marginalized communities.

Constitutional Rights, building bridges between law enforcement and communities of color to combat police brutality, and providing the best de-escalation and unconscious bias training
FOUNDER
Deitra Crawley is a Corporate Attorney who envisioned having an international organization of mothers who are skilled and talented in legal jurisprudence and who therefore would be especially effective in answering the cries of the defenseless and voiceless who are unfairly and unjustly treated by bad actors in the criminal justice system.

Kianna Chennault, Prosecutor and Co-founder of GC Milk, is committed to bringing justice to victims and to communities. Kianna was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Howard University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in both psychology and criminal justice.
